Shane DeWitt is the CEO and President of Aqua-Chem, Inc and is responsible for running all facets of the business. Since he started here in 2015, Shane has held many roles at Aqua-Chem including; Operations Manager, Director of Strategic Development, and various Engineering roles. Shane’s experience prior to Aqua-Chem gives him a unique perspective, as he was an Aqua-Chem customer. Shane is passionate about providing clean water solutions to our customers and he is focused on ensuring Aqua-Chem delivers on our promises. Prior to working at Aqua-Chem Shane spent many years honing his skills in engineering, systems engineering, and facility utilities on the customer side. With his unique blend of talents and experience Shane is well-suited to lead Aqua-Chem as we grow and expand our services and product offerings to meet the demands for clean water. Shane holds a BS from Olivet Nazarene University’s School of Business.

Jonathan Palmer is the Chief Commercial Officer of Aqua-Chem, Inc. In 2023, Jonathan joined Aqua-Chem after a long tenure with Discovery Networks, Inc. He brings over 25 years of sales and marketing experience, with a track record of developing strong customer relationships and a passion for building strategic partnerships. Jonathan’s career experience spans national account management, integrated marketing, content distribution, promotional partnerships, and leadership development. Jonathan holds a BA from Lenoir-Rhine University in Hickory, NC.
David Hansard

VP Quality and Supply Chain Management
Mr. Hansard joined Aqua-Chem in 2003 as a Senior Buyer. David has held various positions within the Purchasing and Sourcing department including, Purchasing Manager. In 2012 David was promoted to Global Supply Chain Manager, before his promotion to Director of Supply Chain management in late 2013. Mr. Hansard assumed his current role of VP Quality and Supply Chain Management in 2020. Prior to joining Aqua-Chem, David was employed by Robertshaw Tennessee, a division of Invensys, as Manager of Quoting, Pricing and Cost Estimating. David is a member of APICS and is Lean Process Certified. Hansard holds a B.A. in Geology/Geography from the University of Tennessee.

Vice President of Finance
David Young is the Vice President of Finance of Aqua-Chem, Inc. He joined Aqua-Chem in 2024 with over thirty years of finance experience, including the CFO role at several organizations. David’s career experience includes senior leadership, strategic planning, operational improvement, accounting and reporting, treasury management, and public accounting. David is a licensed CPA and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.
Dawn King

Vice President of Human Resources
Mrs. Dawn King is the Vice President of Human Resources of Aqua-Chem, Inc. She joins Aqua-Chem with over 18 years of Human Resources experience and has held HR roles in both the private and government sectors. Prior to joining Aqua-Chem, she held positions as Director of Human Resources, Technical Recruiter, and Training and Development Manager. Mrs. King holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from the University of Tennessee.

Kyaw (Moe) Moe
Head of Strategic Market Development
Kyaw Moe (Moe) joined Aqua-Chem as Head of Strategic Market Development in July of 2024. Moe brings 21 years of experience serving the Military, Food and Beverage, Energy, and Bio-Pharmaceutical industries. He served in various capacities through his tenure, starting from a Project Engineer to Head of Commercial Operations. He has built and led teams in regional HQs responsible for business development, sales, and service globally. Moe holds a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Orleans.
Anya E. Corcoran

Ms. Corcoran joined Aqua-Chem in 2023 as its first in-house attorney. She brings over 15 years of broad legal experience to Aqua-Chem, including in-house, transactional, and litigation work for both public and private companies. Previously, Ms. Corcoran served as Director, Corporate Counsel at Spireon, Inc. where she oversaw all legal matters for the company, including the company’s sale to Solera in 2022. From 2015 to 2021, Ms. Corcoran was in private practice at a firm owned jointly with her attorney husband. From 2010 to 2015, Ms. Corcoran held in-house attorney positions at Miller Energy Resources, Inc. In addition, she taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee College of Law from 2015-2018.
Ms. Corcoran obtained her law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2008, with a concentration in Business Transactions. She also received a master’s degree in International Politics from New York University in 2005, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee in Political Science in 2002.
