Houston, Texas – September 2018: This month Aqua-Chem Inc. of Knoxville, Tennessee was proud to announce the start-up and commissioning of a new, 300 GPM reverse osmosis unit at a major beverage industry company’s Houston bottling facility. The unit will support the growth initiative to stay ahead of the consumer move away from carbonated soft drinks and towards bottled purified drinking water.
Aqua-Chem’s VP of Engineering, Brian McClellan, and Strategic Account Manager, Brian Linkous, worked closely with the beverage company’s design engineering and quality assurance groups. The goal of the collaborative effort was to design a system that would be installed with minimal impact to current equipment and production. A custom designed reverse osmosis unit that met all the specific requirements of the company’s sustainability, engineering, quality assurance and operations groups along with very unique installation requirements has achieved all of the goals of the project in stellar fashion and now provides a competitive edge for this beverage company in the greater Houston area.
