Aqua-Chem Awarded One of the Largest WFI Projects in the World

Aqua-Chem was awarded the project to provide a continuous 600 gpm of WFI (including pretreatment and Vapor Compression stills) for a major project in the Central US. The project scope includes equipment fabrication, installation support, start-up, commissioning and validation support.  This project utilizes our patented Spray-Film technology on the largest WFI Vapor Compression Still commercially available, our PR-9000. Each of the four PR-9000’s produces 150 gpm of WFI exceeding the requirements defined in the latest revision of the US Pharmacopeia. As part of this project Aqua-Chem is also providing the pretreatment including hot water sanitizable media filter trains. This Pharmaceutical company has relied on Aqua-Chem for their WFI systems, service, and aftermarket for over 20 years.
